The Role
We are seeking fun, energetic, and engaging Piano Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with students of all ages (five to adult) and brings enthusiasm, patience, and creativity to their teaching.
Candidates should have some familiarity with the RCM curriculum and be comfortable selecting appropriate materials for varying skill levels. You will be responsible for creating a motivating and positive learning environment that supports each student’s individual progress.
Responsibilities:
- Teach piano lessons in alignment with Synergy standards
- Incorporate music theory into lessons
- Create lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning style and goals
- Plan engaging activities that build students’ interest and confidence at the piano
- Encourage regular and effective practice habits
- Provide constructive feedback during lessons
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both students and parents
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching piano to children and/or adults
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
- Demonstrated ability to support student progress and development
- Reliable transportation to and from the studio
Availability Requirements:
This is an in-person position at our SOUTH Academy, with availability on:
- Monday through Friday (4:00–9:00 pm)
- Saturday (9am-4pm)
