Lauden Mechanical Innovation is seeking a Production Technician to join our growing fabrication and manufacturing team in Bonnyville, Alberta. This hands-on role is responsible for supporting daily production activities including equipment operation, assembly, fabrication support, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety in our shop environment.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, operating tools and equipment, and contributing to a team that builds high-quality mechanical systems and components. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient production flow and maintaining the reliability of shop equipment.

Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assemble mechanical components and fabricated parts according to specifications and work instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment to support production processes.
- Assist with fabrication tasks including cutting, drilling, fitting, and preparation of materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
- Support material handling and inventory organization within the shop.
- Record production activities and assist with quality checks when required.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet project timelines and production targets.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or mechanical shop environment preferred.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with drawings or instructions.
- Forklift certification or warehouse equipment experience is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of lifting materials and working in a shop environment.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a production team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
