Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Parts Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting parts and materials, pick up cores, etc to various shops while ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a vehicle to deliver parts and materials to designated locations.
- Load and unload parts, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory levels.
- Assist in the warehouse as needed, including moving items and performing heavy lifting tasks.
- Perform pickups of cores from the customers
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during transportation and warehouse operations.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as needed.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive experience for clients.
