Pro-Fix Maintenance Ltd. is looking for professional, enthusiastic, experienced journeyman welders/fabricators to join our team. We are a locally owned company in Campbell River, BC that remanufactures/manufactures heavy equipment for the coastal forest and marine industries. Pro-Fix is also a leader in custom fabrication, and has recently manufactured custom gates, staircases, firepits, and brushers/mulchers. The position is Monday to Friday day shift and pays competitive wages based on experience. We provide full benefits and a fully equipped shop with modern tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Welding and fabrication of parts, assemblies, and equipment
- Keep a clean, organized, safe work environment.
- Undertake any other shop duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Self motivated, mature, requires minimal supervision
- Strong fabrication skills are required
- Dependable, punctual and co-operative
- Excellent physical strength and stamina
- Class 5 Driver's License is required
- Strong mechanical skills are an asset
- Familiarity with west coast logging equipment is an asset
