Job Overview
AllStar Auctions is currently seeking a motivated, hard working team individual to join our growing company. The role combines inventory control with general daily yard duties utilizing computer and physical skills. The ideal candidate should possess computer skills and be energetic, organized and able to work effectively as a team member to succeed in within a fast-paced environment.
The position is part time with the potential for full time hours and overtime at auction time. Hours range from 25-42.5/week.
Inventory Control Responsibilities
- Write up/confirm incoming inventory descriptions
- Data entry of consigned units into CRM
- Photo inventory units for upload
- Confirm product entries in CRM are accurate and make changes as needed
- Verify outgoing product via transportation releases and complete as required
- Post auction yard inventory
General Responsibilities
- Greet customers
- Following all workplace and safety policies and adhere to safety compliance regulations
- Operate lifting devices (e.g. rough terrain forklifts, wheel loaders) safely to assist customers to load/unload
- Manually load and unload materials to/from customer vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance on company equipment
- Perform required property/building maintenance
- All applicable tasks as required
Requirments
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Reliable transportation as no public transportation is available
- Strong computer skills
- Customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Work effectively under pressure while maintaining quality work
- Strong work ethic and position team attitude
- Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Forklift Operator experience an asset
- Comfortable around heavy equipment
- Heavy equipment knowledge an asset
- Mechanically inclined an asset
- Able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
- Appropriate work attire to be presentable to customers as well as PPE required
- Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines
Work Conditions
- Physically demanding - physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Work indoor/outdoor in all weather conditions (All Seasons - rain, snow, heat, cold)
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Weekends when required
- Overtime as required
Pay: $19.75 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 42.5 per week
Work Location: In person
