Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finisher/Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for completing the final stages of stainless steel vessel production, ensuring all products meet quality standards. Your expertise in grinding, buffing, sanding, installation, assembly, and mechanical knowledge will be essential to deliver top-quality finished products efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Use hand tools, power tools, sandblasting equipment to finish stainless steel vessels according to specifications
- Perform assembly tasks, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and secured
- Operate cranes and forklifts safely to move heavy materials and finished products within the workspace
- Conduct inspections throughout the finishing process to identify defects or issues needing correction
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve efficiency
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to maintain a safe work environment
- Document completion steps, quality checks, and any issues encountered during finishing processes
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing or fabricating environments
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, cranes, and forklifts safely
- Basic plumbing, electrical, mechanical skills.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Experience with welding techniques is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Communicate with the team on updates, issues, planning, and feedback.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
