Electrical Maintenance Supervisor
We're seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead a unionized maintenance team in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused leader who enjoys developing people, improving reliability, and driving operational excellence.
In this role, you'll provide daily leadership to skilled trades personnel and maintenance contractors, ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal impact on production. You'll coordinate preventative and routine maintenance, partner closely with operations and planning teams, and help maximize equipment reliability while reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
Success in this position requires a hands-on leader who can coach and mentor employees, prioritize competing demands, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in promoting safety, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and driving performance across the maintenance organization.
What We're Looking For
Red Seal Trade Certification, Electrical Engineering diploma, or Electrical Engineering degree
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience leading trades in a unionized industrial environment
Strong commitment to safety, employee development, and continuous improvement
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
Strong organizational skills with experience planning, prioritizing, and delegating work
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Legal authorization to work in Canada at the time of application
