RELIEF YOUTH WORKERS
Huron House is the idea of reducing barriers to treatment and giving individuals a voice, by building collaborative, inclusive, diverse, and highly individualized support plans in tandem with the child or youth’s circle of care supporting youth between 12 to 18 years of age.
We are recruiting to add to our team; individuals with the skills, motivation, and desire to change the way mental health care is offered.
· Post Secondary educational background in a mental health or youth focused background.
· In lieu of a post-secondary educational diploma/degree a minimum of 5 years of residential experience in a residential setting
· Superior written and verbal communication skills
· Possess or obtain certification in CPR and First Aid
· Ability to function independently within the framework of a team
· Sound Behavioural Management skills
· Experience in interventions (individual, group, family)
· Ability to produce clear and concise reports in a timely manner
· Competence in making and implementing decisions/actions when necessary to ensure quality service
