Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Adventure Game Host to join our team. You are an adrenaline seeking individual who has actively played Nerf Blaster games. This role is ideally suited to someone who can command a group of children and families in a fun and exhilirating evening of Nerf Wars. You will be able to conduct safety training and faciliate games in our city of Kidtropolis. This role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and ensuring they have an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a warm demeanor, and the ability to manage guest flow efficiently. Prior experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred, and familiarity with working with children is a plus. This position offers an engaging environment where guest satisfaction is our top priority.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waiting lists effectively
- Escort guests to tables and provide menus, ensuring comfort and satisfaction
- Handle reservations and seating arrangements to optimize flow during busy hours
- Manage guest inquiries, address concerns promptly, and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist with food and beverage orders as needed, supporting food service staff
- Handle cash transactions accurately for seating or reservations when applicable
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Engage with children and families in a friendly manner to enhance their dining experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience with NERF is preferred
- Previous experience in hospitality and guest services is preferred
- Ability to work and communicate well with children and families to create a welcoming environment for families
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to stay energetic in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset are essential
Pay: $17.85-$25.00 per hour
