Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services during overnight hours, ensuring smooth hotel operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and experience in hospitality or front desk operations. Multilingual and bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse guest base effectively.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and during check-in/check-out processes
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using multi-line phone systems
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly with excellent customer service skills
- Perform nightly audit procedures to ensure accurate financial records and reporting
- Maintain accurate guest accounts and process payments efficiently
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Ensure the front desk area remains clean, organized, and professional at all times
- Follow proper phone etiquette when communicating with guests and vendors
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support hotel operations during overnight shifts
Experience
- Prior experience in front desk or hotel reception roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems and guest management software is a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service best practices is advantageous
