Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in plumbing systems, construction, and related trades. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across commercial and residential projects. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repair projects
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential failures
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving carpentry, HVAC components, or assembly tasks
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, or maintenance within commercial or residential settings
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems as well as familiarity with carpentry, HVAC systems, and welding techniques
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery relevant to construction trades
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs
- Experience with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation is preferred
- Prior experience in construction environments involving assembly work or working with schematics is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving may be preferred depending on job requirements
