Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Flagger/Labourer to assist in construction and paving projects. This role involves directing traffic around work zones, supporting heavy equipment operation, and performing general labour tasks to ensure safety and efficiency on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to safety protocols, and the ability to work in outdoor environments under various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Direct traffic safely around construction sites using flagging signals
- Assist with the operation of heavy equipment as needed, following safety guidelines
- Support paving activities by preparing materials and assisting with equipment setup
- Perform general labour tasks such as loading, unloading, and moving materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols at all times during project execution
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Skills
- Prior experience or knowledge in heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Basic understanding of paving and construction processes
- Strong communication skills for effective flagging signals and team coordination
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks throughout the workday
- Commitment to safety standards and procedures at all times
Pay: $25.00 per hour

- Iroquois Falls, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
