Operations Coordinator / Junior Operations Manager
Job Summary
Purpose and Scope
Signature Properties is looking for a motivated and organized Operations Coordinator / Junior Operations Manager to join our growing team in Calgary. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in residential property management and grow into a larger Operations Manager role overseeing a portfolio of approximately 1,000 suites.
The ideal candidate is eager to learn, takes initiative, communicates professionally, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company and develop leadership skills within multifamily operations.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operations of assigned residential properties
- Assist with tenant file management, lease tracking, and resident records
- Respond to tenant inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with maintenance coordination and work order distribution
- Review tenant applications and prepare required documentation
- Maintain organized administrative files, correspondence, and records
- Assist with accounts receivable/payable tracking and administrative reporting
- Work closely with Property Managers regarding operations, maintenance, and resident relations
- Help ensure operational tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
- Take initiative on projects and continuously look for ways to improve operations and resident experience
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in property management, administration, customer service, or related fields
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Able to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Basic to intermediate experience with Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Word
- Must have experience with Yardi or other property management software

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
