Operations Coordinator — Property Management
(Growth path to Operations Manager)

Reports to: Asset Manager
Compensation: $65,000–$70,000 annually
About the Role
Signature Properties is looking for an organized, motivated Operations Coordinator to join our Calgary team. This role is a launching point for someone who wants to build a long-term career in multifamily property management — with a clear path to growing into an Operations Manager role overseeing a portfolio of approximately 1,000 suites.
You’ll work closely with Property Managers across day-to-day operations, resident relations, and administrative reporting, gaining hands-on exposure to the full scope of portfolio management.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations across assigned residential properties
- Manage tenant files, lease tracking, and resident records
- Respond to tenant inquiries professionally and promptly
- Coordinate maintenance requests and distribute work orders
- Review tenant applications and prepare required documentation
- Maintain organized administrative files and correspondence
- Assist with accounts receivable/payable tracking and reporting
- Identify and propose improvements to operations and resident experience
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in property management, administration, or customer service
- Experience with Yardi (or comparable property management software) required
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment-strong sense or urgency
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
