Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Experience in food service and hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Provide excellent guest service by addressing customer needs, answering questions, and upselling menu items when appropriate
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables while maintaining attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in compliance with health regulations
- Uphold food safety standards and sanitation protocols throughout all service activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; knowledge of the food industry is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is beneficial but not required
- Must be 18 years or older and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
