MultiTech Trades Corp is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Mechanical BIM Modeler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise 3D models of electrical systems using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. Your expertise will support project planning, design coordination, and construction activities, ensuring seamless integration of electrical systems within complex infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate 3D Mechanical BIM models utilizing Revit and AutoCAD
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and other MEP disciplines to ensure proper integration of systems.
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts and construction documentation from BIM models.
- Participate in clash detection and model coordination meetings.
- Ensure all models comply with standards and project specifications.
- Support construction teams by providing detailed layout designs and resolving design conflicts during the modeling process.
- Maintain organized documentation of model revisions, drawings, and related project data.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mechanical BIM modeler using Revit.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD for MEP modeling.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, Plumbing/Piping and Sheet Metal within building projects .
- Experience with BIM coordination and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Familiarity with construction processes.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
