Role Overview
This role is focused on editing and producing high-performing social video content after shoots are completed by the Creative Director.
You will take raw footage and turn it into:
- Viral short-form content
- Engaging long-form storytelling
- High-converting ad creatives
You report to the Marketing Manager, with a dotted line to the Creative Director for creative direction and execution standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesVideo Editing & Content Production
- Edit high-volume content across:
- TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts
- Long-form YouTube / campaign videos
- Paid ads (Meta, Google, etc.)
- Transform raw footage into fast-paced, engaging, on-brand content
- Execute edits that match Shelby’s tone: high-energy, bold, humorous, culturally relevant
Short-Form Content Mastery
- Cut and optimize videos for retention, hooks, and shareability
- Add captions, effects, transitions, and sound design aligned with current trends
- Understand what performs on each platform and edit accordingly
Creative Execution
- Work closely with the Creative Director to execute vision and style
- Bring your own editing ideas to enhance content performance
- Maintain consistency in brand voice and visual identity
Speed & Volume
- Handle high output — multiple edits per day/week
- Turn around content quickly without sacrificing quality
- Adapt edits for different platforms and formats
Content Optimization
- Continuously refine editing style based on performance
- Identify patterns in viral content and apply them to future edits
- Support A/B testing for paid and organic content
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience in video editing (mandatory)
- Experience in QSR, food, or social-first brands strongly preferred
- Strong portfolio of:
- Short-form viral content
- Social media edits (TikTok/Reels/Shorts)
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects (or equivalent)
- Deep understanding of:
- Social media trends
- Hooks, pacing, retention editing
- Ability to work fast under pressure in a high-output environment
- Strong attention to detail and storytelling instinct

- Content is delivered on time, every time
- Videos feel native to each platform (not repurposed lazily)
- Edits consistently improve engagement and retention
- Creative Director’s vision is executed cleanly and quickly
Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
