We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our team at Mezzanotte Bistro Italiano in Canada.
Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Micros POS.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive and personalized service.
- Handle payments accurately and process transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Proven experience as a Server in a restaurant setting, preferably upscale or Italian cuisine.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours.
- Familiarity with POS or similar systems.
- Basic math skills for billing and cash handling.
- Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
