Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Class 1 Driver provides daily pick-up and delivery service to/from our Cranbrook facility. This role requires physical labour, including using a manual pallet jack.
Monday to Friday; 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Cranbrook, BC
- Pre-trips equipment daily and reports per company requirements
- Communicates with dispatch to ensure efficient route planning
- Communicates with clients on site to ensure delivery services meets or exceeds expectations
- Delivers loads daily in an efficient and safe manner
- Conducts daily vehicle inspections and reports any problems
- Reports road incidents to the Dispatcher
- Maintains a positive attitude with customers/clients

Professional attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers
- Experience operating and maintaining a commercial vehicle to DOT safety regulations
- Current Class 1 Driver’s license with clean COMMERCIAL driver’s abstract
- Basic geographical knowledge of Cranbrook and the surrounding areas
- Experience driving a manual transmission required
- Ability to lift freight up to 50 lbs.
- Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday
- Experience or certification to operate a forklift an asset
- May be asked to drive 5 ton truck when needed
- Hiring wage $27.00 per hour.
