Are you a skilled electrician who enjoys the variety of field work & office work? We are looking for a dedicated Red Seal Electrical Journeyperson to join our team in a dynamic role that blends hands-on service, project coordination, and mentorship.
As the face of our commercial and institutional small project division. You’ll manage a service vehicle, lead apprentices, and bridge the gap between the job site and the office.
What You’ll Do
- Service & Installation: Operate a provided service van to execute commercial and institutional electrical work ranging from small service calls (under $1,000) to mid-sized projects (up to $75,000).
- Project Coordination: Meet with clients to discuss requirements, coordinate with our estimator, and schedule work efficiently.
- Administration: Maintain accurate digital records of materials and labor per job. You will spend part of your time in the office environment using Microsoft Excel and Word & Trimble to ensure project tracking is seamless.
- Leadership: Supervise and mentor apprentice electricians, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety on every site.
What You Bring
- Certification: Valid Red Seal Journeyperson Electrical Certification is mandatory.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Word) for reporting and estimating.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills; you’re comfortable talking to clients and coordinating with the office team.
- Independence: Ability to manage your own schedule and take ownership of a project from the initial estimate to the final invoice.
- Clean Record: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving abstract for operating the service vehicle. Also criminal record search will be required as we do work with sensitive clients.
Compensation & Benefits
- Wage: $46.00 – $50.00 per hour (Starting rate, determined by skill level and experience during interview process).
