Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Gas Tech and BBQ Assemblers to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling, installing, and maintaining gas-powered appliances and BBQ products with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, experience with welding, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. Duties
- Assemble gas appliances and BBQ units according to schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Perform MIG, TIG welding, and other fabrication tasks to ensure secure and durable assemblies
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for accurate assembly processes
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment used during assembly and fabrication
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other precision measuring devices to ensure components meet specifications
- Install plumbing components related to gas lines and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Rigging of heavy components as needed for assembly or installation processes
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues during assembly or post-installation inspections
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment adhering to safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, and general welding techniques
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, schematics, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing or construction environments
- Proficiency with hand tools, calipers, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience with rigging, maintenance, or troubleshooting mechanical systems preferred
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to welding, gas systems, and appliance assembly
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in manufacturing or construction industries is a plus
