POSITION SUMMARY
In collaboration with the engineering team, you will design, implement, and validate embedded control algorithms used in passenger train door systems.
This role combines embedded firmware development, hardware interaction, client interface development, and production support. You will contribute to both new product development and continuous improvement of existing systems.
This is a hands-on technical role with cross-functional exposure and occasional customer interaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Embedded Software Development
- Develop microcontroller firmware in C/C++
- Implement real-time control algorithms
- Perform debugging, validation, and testing
- Participate in full SDLC (design, coding, testing, documentation)
Hardware & System Interaction
- Support microcontroller circuit design
- Interpret and work with digital and analog circuits
- Design and implement test benches
- Validate prototypes and system behavior
Client Interface & Applications
- Develop Windows-based client interface applications
- Support diagnostic or configuration tools
R&D & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in development of new control systems
- Improve performance and reliability of existing products
Production & Customer Support
- Provide technical support to production
- Support customer inquiries and field troubleshooting
- Occasionally participate in service calls or customer training
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- 5–10 years embedded systems development experience
- Strong C/C++ low-level programming
- Real-time control knowledge
- Understanding of digital and analog circuits
- Autonomous, detail-oriented, team player
- Bilingual (French & English)
- Willing to travel (10–15%)

Pay: $75,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
