Lead / Framing Carpenter

Tekton Design & Property Management is looking to hire a Lead / Framing Carpenter with strong experience in residential construction. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can take ownership of projects, lead crews, and deliver high-quality work from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Lead framing crews on residential builds and renovations
- Read and interpret blueprints and layouts
- Complete all aspects of carpentry including:
- Framing (floors, walls, roofs)
- Exterior work (siding, decks, doors, windows)
- Interior work (drywall prep, trim, basic finishing)
- Coordinate daily tasks and keep projects on schedule
- Ensure quality control and job site efficiency
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Communicate with management and clients when required
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years carpentry experience (framing focused)
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of carpentry
- Proven ability to lead a crew and work independently
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing and site workflow
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Own basic tools
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Strong Assets
- Concrete experience (forming, placing, finishing, foundations, pads)
- Experience with project coordination or site supervision
- Knowledge of local building codes
- Equipment operation (telehandler, skid steer, etc.)
