Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, taking orders, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. This position requires a passion for food and hospitality, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Process payments accurately through cashiering duties, including handling cash and credit transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of meals and communicate any special dietary needs or preferences.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
Skills
- Proficient in food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Strong background in food service with an emphasis on guest services.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy periods.
- Cashiering experience with basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive guest interaction.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations is a plus but not required.
