We are searching for an Assistant Controller to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Controller, the successful candidate will assist the Controller all financial and costing analysis of the company. Manufacturing experiences will be an asset. The role is structured with an in-office work model.
Responsibilities
- Gross Margin Analysis by customers/products.
- Manage job costing.
- Rebates calculation.
- Manage Fixed Assets.
- Approve timesheets and some payroll duties
- Miscellaneous and ad hoc duties assigned by the Controller.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
- CPA or nearly completion in an accounting designation.
- Financial and costing analysis is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required.
- Intermediate Excel skills with Pivot table is a must.
- Demonstrated track record of “rolling up your sleeves” mentality.
- Good judgment, problem-solving and strong organization skills.
