Job Summary
Project/Site Manager
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project/Site Manager to oversee a construction project for a commercial medical building from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in construction management software and technical schematics. The Project/Site Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.
Duties
- Help develop and review efficient project plans, blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Manage project schedules to track progress and deadlines.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials.
- Oversee daily site operations, including safety protocols, quality control, and adherence to building codes.
- Prepare and review construction estimates to ensure budget alignment.
- Monitor project costs, change orders, and resource allocation to maintain financial control.
- Lead project meetings, provide updates to stakeholders, and resolve issues promptly to minimize delays.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and conduct regular site inspections.
- Manage project documentation including schedules, reports, RFIs (Request for Information), and progress photos.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and cost control methodologies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in construction management or related fields are preferred but not required.
