Summary
We are seeking a skilled Plumber and Gasfitter to join our team in Canada. This role is vital in ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and gas systems, supporting our mission to provide reliable property services. Based in your local area, you will contribute to maintaining safe and efficient systems for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and gas systems according to safety standards.
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute projects.
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments like calipers for precise work.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing and gas installations.
- Troubleshoot issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Follow all safety protocols and building codes.
- Document work performed for compliance and quality assurance.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a plumber or gasfitter with relevant certifications.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, schematics, and blueprints.
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in welding or fabrication is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment is an asset.
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions.
- Valid certification or license as required by local regulations.
