Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production processes. This role requires mechanical aptitude, familiarity with manufacturing equipment, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. Prior steep slope experience is an asset. Will train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Operate various manufacturing machinery according to safety protocols and operational guidelines
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform basic adjustments or repairs as needed
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to assist in machine setup and maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify potential problems and ensure optimal functioning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during operation
- Document production data accurately and report any irregularities or malfunctions to supervisors
Experience
- Previous experience in machine operation is preferred; training will be provided if necessary
- Mechanical knowledge or background in using hand tools and power tools is highly advantageous
- Ability to read technical manuals or schematics is beneficial for troubleshooting tasks
- Class 1 license is an asset but not required
- Level 2 intermediate or Level 3 an asset but not required

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
