About Brick & Brew
Brick & Brew is hiring Baristas and Café Team Members for our beautifully restored café in the heart of downtown Edmonton.
Located inside the historic Foote Residence, just steps from the Legislature, Jasper Avenue, and the River Valley, Brick & Brew is not your typical coffee shop. We are bringing new life into one of Edmonton’s most unique heritage spaces and creating a warm, polished, neighbourhood-style café where great coffee, good food, and genuine hospitality come together.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new café from the ground up and help create a welcoming place that customers remember and return to.
We are hiring two to three team members for a combination of full-time and part-time positions.
What You’ll Do
As a Barista and Café Team Member, you will help provide a friendly, professional, and consistent experience for every customer.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing espresso drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and other café beverages
- Taking customer orders and operating the point-of-sale system
- Supporting light food preparation, plating, and presentation
- Providing warm, attentive, and professional customer service
- Keeping the café clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service
- Completing opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties
- Restocking supplies and monitoring product levels
- Handling cash and electronic payments accurately
- Working efficiently with other team members during busy periods
- Following food-safety, sanitation, and café procedures
- Helping create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers and coworkers

Previous barista, café, restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
Experience with espresso machines, latte art, food preparation, point-of-sale systems, cash handling, or food safety is also an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
