Overview
Under the direction of the Artistic Director, we are seeking a part-time Assistant Director to support the day-to-day operations of Artesian Performing Arts Inc. This position provides operational support across finance, events, and administration. While bookkeeping experience is essential, other aspects of the role can be learned on the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain basic bookkeeping and financial records (transactions, deposits, invoices, payroll support).
- Support event and rental administration, including responding to inquiries and sharing information.
- Coordinate staff scheduling for events and operations.
- Monitor and order supplies for ongoing operations.
- Support communication with the Board, including preparation and sharing of updates such as event outcomes and basic financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator to support scheduling, communication, and overall volunteer engagement.
- Contribute to the creation and ongoing maintenance of standard operating procedures to support consistent and efficient operations.
- Assist with general administrative and operational needs.
Qualifications
- Basic bookkeeping experience (required)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and comfort working independently
- Clear written communication skills

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
