Position Overview
Albertina Farming Ltd is seeking a Grain Farm Operator to take on a broad, hands-on role in our farming operation. This is a full-time, permanent position with immediate availability.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and responsibility. You will be involved in all aspects of crop production and farm operations, including:
- Operate and maintain farm equipment for seeding, spraying, and harvesting
- Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on machinery
- Coordinate grain shipping and storage logistics
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and agricultural regulations
- Communicate effectively with management and team members
Crops grown include wheat, barley and canola.
Qualifications
- Experience in crop production and grain farm operations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Proven ability to operate large modern farm machinery
- Class 1 or 3 License
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Agronomy knowledge is considered an asset
