Youth Hub Coordinator – Admin
Job Description
The Youth Hub Coordinator – Admin Specialist is responsible for providing a range of administrative and operational supports within the Integrated Youth Hub, Kickstand, to ensure the effective day-to-day delivery of services. This role is within the Kickstand GP team at Sunrise House. This position supports the smooth coordination of programming, daily operations, and youth-centered services while assisting the Housing and Hub Manager with administrative, organizational, and communication tasks. This role contributes to creating a welcoming, organized, and responsive environment for youth, staff, and partner agencies.
Responsibilities
· Prepare and maintain records including case notes, case plans, and critical incidents reports for community youth.
· Build positive rapport and trusting relations with all visitors at Sunrise House.
· Evaluate immediate safety risks, de-escalate and diffuse conflict in an assertive, timely fashion
· Act as a first responder
· Integrate Equity, Diversity, Indigenous, and Decolonization principles and practices
· Create a calm, compassionate environment for those experiencing distress
· Assist with in-person workshops, training and other specific activities and events.
· Participates by providing input in staff meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and committees.
· Help manage and oversee daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly tasks, such as: social media posts, calendar updates, website maintenance, keeping the workspace clean, data entry and reporting, programming schedules, and community engagement. This includes delegating tasks effectively and ensuring they are completed on time.

· Basic computer knowledge including MS office
Qualifications
· Desire to work with youth 11-24yrs and their support networks
· Degree or Diploma in social services field
· Minimum 2 years experience in case management
· Current CPR and First Aid Certificates considered an asset
· ASIST and other trauma informed trainings an asset
· Proven organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
· Knowledge of person-centred care and principles of health equity
· Exceptional interpersonal, relational and communication skills
· Demonstrated ability to work with individuals experiencing distress
· Demonstrated capacity in de-escalation
· Demonstrated ability to manage competing demands
· Valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation
· Ability to be available for evenings or weekends
· Vulnerable population and criminal record check required
· Child intervention check also required
Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour
