We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to support our operations in the heavy‑duty commercial vehicle parts industry. This role manages inbound and outbound shipments, supports customs clearance, analyzes freight rates, sources carriers, and works closely with a 3PL warehouse to maintain accurate stock levels. You will help ensure timely movement of Class‑8 truck and trailer components while supporting a fast‑paced, small‑company environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on‑time delivery
- Prepare and manage customs documentation; work with customs brokers
- Conduct freight rate analysis and compare carrier options
- Source and negotiate with freight carriers for competitive pricing
- Work with a 3PL warehouse to manage inventory and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate shipping documents (BOLs, commercial invoices, packing lists)
- Track shipments and resolve delays or exceptions
- Monitor carrier and 3PL performance and escalate issues as needed
- Maintain shipment records, freight cost data, and inventory movement reports
- Improve and optimize internal logistics processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Support process improvements to increase logistics efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain
- Experience working with 3PL logistics providers
- Experience with customs clearance and international shipping documentation
- Understanding of freight modes, rate structures, and carrier networks
- Proficiency with ERP or inventory systems; strong Excel skills
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is an asset
- CIFFA certification preferred; CCLP or CCS considered an asset

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
