Job Overview
We're a local business hiring up to 4 high school students (Grade 11 and Grade 12) for a relaxed, part-time summer job in our warehouse. The work is simple: helping our small team label products. You'll work one day a week — every Tuesday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM — from July 7, 2026 to the end of August 25, 2026.
This is a great first job. You'll earn $18/hour, work in a friendly and supportive environment with on-site supervision, and gain real work experience you can put on your resume and post-secondary applications. No prior experience is required — we'll show you everything you need to know on your first day.
We're posting this role because we believe local students deserve more summer job opportunities, and we want to help.
"Please note this is a warehouse role, so closed-toe shoes and long pants are required for safety."
Duties
- Apply labels to products neatly and accurately
- Follow simple instructions from your supervisor on how each product should be labelled
- Double-check your work to make sure labels are straight and in the right place
- Keep your workstation tidy and organized throughout the shift
- Work cooperatively with the small team of fellow students
- Let your supervisor know if you have questions or run into anything unusual
- Need
That's really it. The work is straightforward and repetitive, which makes it easy to pick up.
Skills
You don't need any specific experience or qualifications — just a few simple qualities:
- Attention to detail — labels should go on straight and in the right spot
- Reliability — show up on time for your scheduled shifts
- A positive attitude — friendly, willing to learn, and respectful of coworkers and supervisors
- Comfort with repetitive work — labelling is simple but you'll be doing it for a few hours at a time
- Basic communication — able to listen to instructions and ask questions when needed
Nice to have (but not required):
- Any previous job, volunteer work, or school project where you had to follow instructions or work in a team
- Experience with hands-on or detail-oriented activities (crafts, sports, music, gaming, anything really)
If you're a Grade 11 or Grade 12 student who's available Tuesdays this summer and wants a chill, low-pressure first job — we'd love to hear from you.
Dress Code
Since you'll be working in a warehouse, please come dressed for a safe and comfortable shift:

- Long pants (jeans, joggers, leggings, or similar — no shorts or skirts)
- A comfortable T-shirt or top you don't mind getting a little dusty
- Long hair tied back is recommended
You don't need to buy anything special — regular casual clothes you already own are perfectly fine. We just need to keep everyone safe in the warehouse environment.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Benefits:
- Casual dress
- On-site parking
