The Trenton MFRC is looking to hire creative, enthusiastic and energetic Childcare Assistants to join our childcare team. Hours of Work:Our Centres are open 6:45am - 5:15pm, Monday to Friday. There are times when work extends beyond normal operating hours to support the unique needs of military families.
Pay: The base rate of pay for this position is $18.76 with an additional $2 in Provincial Wage Enhancement bringing the total to $20.76 starting.
All childcare staff join our organization in a part-time (up to 30 hours) or casual capacity however, because we have multiple locations, there is the ability to pick up additional hours at our other sites.
Are you a good fit?
- Experience working with children
- Current Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
- Ability to work as an active member of a team
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Up-to-date immunization including COVID-19 vaccination and 2-step TB test
- Diploma, or in process of completing, in Early Childhood Education, Child & Youth Care is considered an asset
Pay: $18.76-$20.76 per hour
