Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing hotel equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This role requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with the ability to interpret schematics and work with various control systems. The Maintenance Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring safety standards and minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance and technical expertise.
Duties
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hotel equipment, including HVAC systems, boilers, electrical, mechanical and plumbing.
- Constantly monitors the operation of hotel equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipates and solves problems in a timely manner and identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct troubleshooting and repairs involving electrician experience, HVAC systems, boiler operation, and other mechanical components.
- Assist with installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems as needed.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols while performing maintenance tasks.
- Must be a "handy person" with problem solving skills.
- Must have experience in building maintenance, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with boiler operation, HVAC troubleshooting, welding procedures, and electrical troubleshooting is preferred.
- Experience working in environments requiring adherence to safety standards and protocols.
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
