Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Repair and replace damaged vehicle panels, frames, and structural components using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques.
- Perform bodywork repairs including dent removal, sanding, filling, and painting preparation.
- Assess vehicle damage and provide accurate estimates for repairs.
- Use dealership manuals and mechanical knowledge to ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Test drive vehicles post-repair to verify quality and safety standards are met.
Experience
- Prior dealership experience - 5 years or more .
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair or bodywork.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Experience working with automotive paint, dent repair, and structural alignment is a plus.
- Mechanic experience is advantageous but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for the right candidate.
