Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, Line Maintenance YYZ, this position will provide support in the following areas below.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure maintenance activities are accomplished in accordance with the policies and procedures contained in the MCM, MPM, DPDs, aircraft and component maintenance manuals and Transport Canada requirements;

Maintain an AME - E license and ACA qualifications, as required, on company aircraft;

Acquire and maintain Airport Security Clearance, AVOP, Passport, and full ‘G’ Driver’s License

Responsible for mentoring new Apprentices;

Liaise with the Lead and MOC with regards to scheduled assigned overnight work packages;

Ensure that all Porter technical documentation, such as maintenance releases , , associated with defects or Work Packs is accomplished as per company standards prior to submission to Technical Records;

Assist with ground support equipment (GSE) maintenance, and generate logs for any equipment that requires repair;

Responsible to ensure the consumable materials and tooling stored in the hangar and service vehicles are maintained in a neat and tidy manner;

Responsible for supporting AOG maintenance system wide as required;

Assist the Lead in ensuring the hangar work areas, including all locations in hangar, office, as well as service vehicles and equipment, are kept clean in an effort to maintain a safe work environment;

Utilize the SMS reporting program for any hazards or incidents that may occur.

Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Must have 3 years of avionics repair experience in the aviation industry

Must hold Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license, Cat E.

High degree of accuracy

Strong analytical personality

Good working knowledge with Microsoft Office

Strong communication skills

Ability to travel internationally on short notice
