Pacific Coast Heavy Truck Group is Metro Vancouver’s established Volvo & Mack Truck dealer and we are experiencing remarkable growth. We have 4 locations, including Langley, Kamloops, Annacis Island and Chilliwack.
We are now accepting applications for a Heavy-Duty Detailer to be part of our Langley team in a full-time, permanent capacity. We are selectively looking for applicants with the right experience and work ethic to fit our company and join our growing team!

Responsibilities:
· Wash and clean heavy-duty trucks using pressure washers, steam cleaners, and appropriate cleaning products.
· Remove dirt, grease, oil, mud, road salt, and other contaminants from exterior surfaces.
· Clean vehicle interiors, including cabs, seats, dashboards, windows, floors, and storage compartments.
· Vacuum, shampoo, and deodorize interiors as required.
· Clean engines and engine compartments when required and in accordance with safety procedures.
· Remove decals, adhesive residue, paint overspray, and contaminants using approved methods.
· Inspect vehicles for damage, missing parts, fluid leaks, or maintenance concerns and report findings to the supervisor.
· Move and position vehicles within the shop or yard when authorized.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
· Safely handle, store, and dispose of cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials according to workplace procedures.
· Follow workplace health and safety policies, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
· Complete required inspection forms
· Perform final quality inspections to ensure vehicles meet company cleanliness standards before release.
· Remove snow and ice from vehicles and equipment during winter conditions.
· Assist with shop housekeeping and general yard maintenance as required.
· Communicate with supervisors regarding work priorities and equipment readiness.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods.
· Lift and carry up to 50 lb (23 kg) regularly.
· Work in indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions.
· Safely operate cleaning equipment and hand tools.
· Work around heavy equipment while maintaining situational awareness.
· Knowledge of vehicle cleaning techniques and detailing products.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Self-starter
· Quick learner
· Time management and organizational skills
· Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices.
· Ability to identify and report vehicle damage or maintenance issues.
· Mechanical aptitude (would be an asset)
· Class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract required
