Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional food service in a dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food handling and preparation. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in the food industry. We are a 100% gluten free kitchen in the heart of small town Cottam, Ontario.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of menu items with attention to quality and presentation
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food safety standards and sanitation procedures are strictly followed
- Handle food with care to maintain freshness and prevent contamination
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas throughout shifts
- Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, addressing their needs promptly
- Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency in meal quality
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory management as needed
Skills
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or food service roles preferred
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes
- Strong understanding of food handling safety standards and practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work collaboratively with team members
- Passion for delivering high-quality food service and ensuring guest satisfaction
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $26.50-$31.50 per hour
