Retail Sales Clerk / Farm Assistant
Join Our Farm Market Team!
Hillside Country Market is looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking team member to assist with our fruit stand, fruit picking operations, and glamping guests. This is a seasonal position in a beautiful outdoor farm setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers at the fruit stand
- Operate cash register and process payments
- Stock and display fresh fruits and farm products
- Pick fruit as needed for sales and customer orders
- Assist customers during U-Pick activities
- Welcome and assist glamping guests
- Maintain clean and organized retail, farm, and guest areas
- Answer customer questions about products, picking conditions, and farm activities
- Assist with opening and closing duties
Qualifications
- Friendly, positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to lift and carry produce boxes and supplies
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous retail, hospitality, tourism, or farm experience is an asset but not required
