Seeking candidates for full-time permanent employment as underground utility locator. Seeking either an experienced utility locator or a candidate without any experience. Experienced locators are welcome to apply and the wage is negotiable based on utilities located and length of experience to a maximum of $30/hr.
All other candidates do not require experience, all training is provided and paid. Training wage is $20.00/hr. Once the candidate has completed training and satisfied the conditions of the Quality Assurance Program, the wage will increase based upon their performance review.
Survey or AUTOCAD/GIS or experience and/or education in reading schematics would be an asset but not required. Advanced computer skills required to complete digital sketches. All equipment is provided, including a vehicle to accomplish your assigned duties. A full G License is required with a clean abstract. All work is performed outdoors and the candidate must be able to carry up to 20 lbs and physically able to walk distances on varied and sometimes rugged terrain.
Successful candidates will be trained in the Owen Sound area, but the work may be in the surrounding Bruce/Grey County area. All work is completed on the job site or remotely and will not require work from home or an office.
