Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Powersports Technician or apprentice to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ATVs, snowmobiles, and other powersports equipment, along with strong mechanical aptitude. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to maintaining and repairing a variety of powersports vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.
Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on a wide range of powersports equipment
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire replacements, and brake inspections
- Repair or replace faulty parts using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure all repairs meet industry standards
- Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle serviced
- Assist in ordering parts and managing inventory to ensure timely repairs
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose complex issues efficiently
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members and customers
- Prior experience working on powersports vehicles or similar machinery is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
