Overview
We are seeking a skilled Offset Pressperson to join our manufacturing team in Lindsay. This role is essential for operating and maintaining offset printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments, and familiarity with packaging and machining processes. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where precision and efficiency are valued.
Responsibilities
- Operate offset printing presses with attention to detail to ensure consistent quality output
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press equipment to minimize downtime
- Monitor print jobs for color accuracy, registration, and overall quality standards
- Load and unload materials using forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
- Assist with material handling, packaging finished products, and preparing orders for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse environments preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation and maintenance
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus
- Basic understanding of machining processes is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
- Prior experience with warehouse operations or inventory management is beneficial
