Overview
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Dental Business Administrator to join our Dunnville practice. This is a full-time, in-person role that requires someone who is confident, self-directed, and brings a high standard of accuracy to everything they do.

Duties
- Manage and optimize the treating provider's daily schedule to maximize productivity and minimize gaps.
- Proactively audit the schedule and use unscheduled treatment reports to fill openings and improve case acceptance.
- Discuss comprehensive treatment plans confidently and clearly with patients, presenting care options in a way that supports informed decision-making.
- Handle patient inquiries with prompt, accurate responses, drawing on a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology.
- Process and submit dental insurance claims with a thorough understanding of coverage limitations and claim complexities.
- Manage clear aligner therapy and orthodontic fee schedule discussions with patients.
- Coordinate patient care with specialist offices to ensure continuity of treatment.
- Manage patient accounts and ledgers with precision and integrity.
- Support sedation-related patient care coordination, including familiarity with associated protocols for all levels of dental sedation.
- Communicate effectively with both the administrative and clinical teams to support a seamless patient experience.
Skills
- Proven experience in dental billing and administration, ideally in a multi-provider or growing practice environment.
- Confident and experienced in treatment plan discussions with patients across a range of complexity.
- Strong working knowledge of dental insurance plans, coverage structures, and claim processing.
- Familiarity with clear aligner therapy, orthodontic fee schedules, and dental sedation protocols.
- Experience managing patient accounts and ledgers with a high standard of accuracy.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently without requiring constant direction.
- Committed to a full-time schedule of five days per week, including one evening shift.
