The Centers are seeking a high-energy Pickleball Party Coach to lead fun, social on-site events, parties, and introductory sessions. We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing leader who thrives on bringing people together, making everyone feel welcome, and ensuring our guests have an unforgettable, high-energy experience on the courts.
Company Overview
The Centers are Edmonton's Premier Pickleball Network. We are rapidly expanding and currently operate across 3 premier locations: Edmonton Pickleball Center (West), EVP Center (South) & The Center Sports Complex (North); the selected candidate's services may be required across any of our 3 facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Hosting & Instruction: Lead, host, and facilitate high-energy social sessions, including birthday parties, corporate events, school groups, and basic introductory pickleball sessions.
- Fun & Engagement: Keep the energy high, music going, and games moving to ensure all participants are entertained, engaged, and having fun regardless of their skill level.
- Community & Culture: Build positive relationships with clients, guests, and staff while promoting an inclusive, welcoming, and vibrant social environment.
- Administration & Tech: Use Court Reserve to coordinate scheduled events and promptly respond to client event inquiries via email.
- Safety & Professionalism: Maintain safe play environments while keeping the atmosphere lighthearted and professional.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: No formal coaching experience is required! Strong public communication, event hosting, or hospitality/customer service experience is a major asset. Sport coaching experience (e.g Tennis, Badminton, Pickleball) is an asset.
- Pickleball Knowledge: A basic understanding of pickleball rules and experience teaching friends or newcomers how to play is considered an asset, but we will train the right personality.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Availability & Physical Demands: Must be available for a flexible schedule (primarily evenings and weekends when events are hosted). Ability to stay active on your feet and occasionally lift light-to-medium weight (20 lbs) objects.
- Certifications: First Aid/CPR/AED certification is optional but welcomed.
- Expected Hours: 1-3 hours a week, varying times/days
