Structure: Contract 24 months to start
Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 p/h inc. + HST

Deliverables

Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed production schedules that ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with operational priorities, resource availability, and business objectives.

Coordinate production planning activities with Operations, Maintenance, Materials Management, Procurement, Inventory, and Supervisory teams to balance workload, resolve scheduling conflicts, and respond to changing priorities.

Monitor production progress, identify schedule variances, resource constraints, and risks, implementing corrective actions and communicating schedule updates to stakeholders to minimize operational impacts.

Maintain accurate scheduling records, production reports, resource plans, and performance metrics while supporting continuous improvement initiatives, data analysis, and alignment with safety, quality, and operational standards.
Experience Required

5+ years of experience in production scheduling, production planning, operations planning, maintenance scheduling, or materials management within manufacturing, utilities, industrial, or other complex operational environments.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related discipline.

Strong experience utilizing ERP, MRP, EAM, or enterprise planning systems for production scheduling, resource planning, inventory coordination, materials management, and operational reporting.

Advanced analytical skills with demonstrated experience in forecasting, schedule optimization, production analysis, statistical reporting, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data-driven decision making.

Excellent organizational, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, adapt schedules quickly, and support continuous improvement of production planning processes.
