Work Locations: Georgetown, Ontario; Peel Region.
Job Duties
- Install residential, commercial, and industrial fencing including wood, chain-link, ornamental steel, vinyl, and privacy fencing.
- Measure and lay out fence lines according to project specifications.
- Dig post holes using hand tools and powered equipment.
- Set and align fence posts in concrete.
- Install fence panels, rails, gates, hardware, and accessories.
- Read and interpret site plans, drawings, and work orders.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, compact equipment, and other construction-related equipment.
- Load, unload, and transport fencing materials to and from job sites.
- Perform fence repairs, modifications, and maintenance work as required.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company quality standards and workplace safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Skills Requirements
Education:
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience installing commercial fencing.
- Experience with wood, chain-link, ornamental, and vinyl fence systems is considered an asset.
- Experience operating construction tools and equipment required.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid Ontario driver's licence considered an asset.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
