Afternoon Shift Parts & Inventory Specialist
J.E. Culp Transport is a growing trucking fleet that has proudly served the transportation industry for over 40 years. Operating with our own full-service repair facility and expanding parts department, we take pride in maintaining a strong, reliable fleet and a positive team-focused work environment.
As our company continues to grow, we are currently looking for a motivated and dependable Parts & Inventory Specialist to join our afternoon shift team. This is a full-time position offering consistent weekday hours and the opportunity to become a valued member of a fast-paced heavy-duty trucking operation.
Position Details
· Full-time, permanent position
· Monday to Friday
· 8-hour afternoon shift (2:30pm – 11pm)
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting our shop operations and ensuring technicians have the parts and materials needed to keep our fleet operating efficiently. Responsibilities include:
· Receiving, organizing, and stocking inventory
· Issuing parts to technicians and shop staff
· Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with reordering stock
· Maintaining accurate inventory records and updating computer systems
· Assisting with parts sourcing and vendor communication
· Conducting regular inventory counts and helping control inventory accuracy
· Keeping the parts room clean, organized, and efficient
· Supporting daily operations within the service and repair shop
Qualifications
· Previous experience in parts, inventory control, trucking, automotive, or heavy equipment industries is considered an asset – We are willing to train the right candidate
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
· Good communication and problem-solving abilities
· Comfortable using computers and inventory management systems
· Forklift experience is considered an asset
· Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
