Position Summary
McLean Railings is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of residential, commercial, and multi-family railing projects. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating field operations, scheduling estimators and installers, maintaining project timelines, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the installation process.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong computer skills, and enjoys managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Coordination
- Schedule estimators for site measurements and project assessments.
- Coordinate installation schedules with crews, customers, builders, and project managers.
- Manage daily and weekly installation calendars to maximize efficiency.
- Confirm appointments and communicate schedule updates.
- Monitor project timelines and proactively address scheduling conflicts.
Project Administration
- Create and maintain project files and documentation.
- Track project progress from measurement through installation and completion.
- Ensure all required information, drawings, specifications, and work orders are complete and accurate.
- Enter and maintain data within company software systems.
- Generate reports and provide updates to management on project status.
Quality Control
- Conduct quality assurance follow-ups during and after installations.
- Coordinate site inspections and address deficiencies or warranty concerns.
- Ensure installation crews meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Document and track corrective actions until resolution.
Customer Service
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding scheduling and project updates.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain professional relationships with homeowners, builders, contractors, and suppliers.
Team Support
- Work closely with sales representatives, estimators, installers, and management.
- Assist with workflow planning to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process development.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project coordination, construction administration, scheduling, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
Preferred
- Experience in the construction, renovation, railing, decking, or building products industy.
- Experience with project management or CRM software.
- Understanding of construction scheduling and field operations.

Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
