We are seeking a motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience handling immigration files,
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple files from intake through resolution. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, prepare legal documents, manage case files, and assist with court and tribunal proceedings.
This is a full-time, in-person position offering long-term growth within a fast-paced legal environment.
Duties
- Key Responsibilities File Management & Case Preparation
- Manage and organize legal files from intake to resolution
Immigration Files
- Assist with preparation of immigration applications and supporting documentation
- Communicate with clients regarding document collection and timelines
- Ensure applications are complete, accurate, and submitted on time
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a paralegal role
- Experience handling traffic, immigration, small claims, and landlord-tenant files
- Strong knowledge of Ontario court and tribunal procedures
- Excellent legal drafting and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal file management systems, ie Clio
Compensation & Work Environment
- Salary: $45,000 annually
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Work Location: In-person office environment
